I myself am a student of MSHS, a freshman as a matter o fact,� the first in my family to ever enter masci. But this continuing issue is starting to bother me and here are my reactions.

1. Schedule was changed due to insistent demands of parents. For them (freshmen parents), 7 am is so early that they appealed to move it to 8 am.

move it to 8? now thats just silly. We have to adjust to their schedule not vice versa. (to the parents) Didnt you read the agreement? It CLEARLY states "Accept your childs schedule willingly."

2. Parents (freshmen) appealed to Mrs. Sabado [principal] to reduce the number of assignments given to students.

strangely, i agree, especially since i live in Las Pi�as, but they give us many assignments so we can learn more and be responsible.

3. Parents (freshmen) appealed to unidentified Education authorities to reduce the number of subjects. Some subjects according to them are very unpractical/useless.

that is just going over the line, they teach us those subjects to train us to be flexible and to prepare us for the future. Its part of quality education.

4. The principal rarely allows students to join competitions like quiz bees, and research fair. Pero pinayagang sumali sa EB Sa Pula, Sa Puti segment.

being in masci is winning contests. Proving that we are a high quality institution. WAKE�UP�PEOPLE THIS�IS�MASCI. CONTESTS�SHOULD�BE�NORMAL�FOR�THEM.

5. A teacher accommodates two sections at a time as a result of parents appealing to change schedules.

We are not a regular public school. We are a SCIENCE�high school. We cant just change the schedules just like that, maraming naghihirap dahil sa mga reklamadora na yan eh� how can we follow our motto "Sustaining the tradition of excellence" when these unending complaints is causeing the education to deteriorate?


grrr.. Amfufu naman yan. Sana naman dont cause a disturbance in the flow or it will be 45 years of excellence down the drain.
